Greg and Flex are joined by Utah Brewers Guild Executive Director Steph, who walks straight into a conversation about urine-fertilized beer, exploding smoothie cans, and why craft beer forgot how to have fun for a while. The crew gets into the weird peak of Covid-era beer trends, Ohio’s deeply suspicious chili spaghetti situation, and the possible return of Anchor Brewing while Flex spends an alarming amount of time trying to figure out what people from Utah are called.

  3. Greg is drinking Liquid Candy from Tarantula Hill Brewing Company, a hazy IPA with tropical Costco confidence.

Steph joins the show and immediately has to sit through a full breakdown of good dick weather, including Flex ranking Nashville, Orlando, and Cincinnati like a man with field research. The crew gets into craft beer’s fun problem, why American Craft Beer Week barely made a sound, and whether the industry is finally crawling out of the overloaded smoothie-beer era. Flex gets stuck on Utah geography, BYU Cougars, actual cougars, and why Wisconsin has Badgers but apparently no badgers. Greg also finds out Google thinks Wisconsin is drunk, which feels less like a search result and more like a witness statement.
