Trust is critical to the success of every business. But building, scaling and demonstrating trust is getting harder for Australian organisations. To meet customer expectations, security leaders and their teams must address complex threats, a growing compliance burden, and increasing risk from their third-party vendor footprint. The rapid adoption of AI technologies only adds to the challenge, requiring more oversight and governance.

Vanta’s second annual State of Trust Report uncovers key trends across these areas of security, compliance and the future of trust. Based on a survey of 2,500 IT and business leaders (with 500 of the respondents from Australia), our research found that more than half (58%) of Australian organisations say that security risks for their business have never been higher.

More than 5,800 digital trust professionals shared their insights for ISACA’s State of Digital Trust research and give their perspectives on:

  • The top benefits of digital trust
  • The consequences of a lack of digital trust
  • Biggest digital trust obstacles
  • Accountability for digital trust
  • Budgets
  • Measurement

SPONSOR: Vanta’s trust management platform takes the manual work out of your security and compliance process and replaces it with continuous automation—whether you’re pursuing your first framework or managing a complex program.

Produced by MySecurity Media, the Cyber Security Weekly Podcast operates from a simple, powerful premise: trust is the foundation of everything. When it erodes, progress halts. This isn't just a theoretical discussion; it's a practical, weekly analysis of how that trust is built, tested, and broken in our interconnected world. Each episode delves into the evolving landscape of threats, blending cyber and physical security into a single, crucial conversation. You'll hear directly from experts navigating these challenges, get clarity on new government policies affecting the sector, and learn about the tools and strategies emerging from leading industry suppliers. We move beyond headlines to provide context on why a particular breach happened, how a new regulation will play out, or what a conference announcement really means for professionals in the field. This podcast serves as a consistent, reliable resource for anyone responsible for safeguarding assets, data, or people, offering not just news updates but a deeper understanding of the trends that define risk and resilience. It's for those who know that staying informed is the first, non-negotiable step in maintaining that essential trust.
