Being grateful is a positive way of looking at life. Being grateful can increase our happiness Let's be more thankful for everything that they have. here are 10 Ideas on how you can be grateful 1. Say please and thank you. using our manners shows that we value others - we appreciate those around us that love and care for us, even in the little things, like picking up our socks... 2. Help someone else This could be your neighbor down the street, grandma, or someone you know who is not having a good day 3. Volunteer. maybe your family could buy some extra food for the homeless shelter, soup kitchen or bring some pizzas to your local fire fighters over the holidays - what could you do as a family? 4. Send out thank you cards. show your gratitude for those who have helped you this year - it could even be your letter carrier or delivery person that has brought you your mail or packages all year - have you said thank you? 5. Find something special about every day Look around, our world is full of magic - from sunrise to sunset, there is beauty all around us - and we all live in different cities and countries - we have something special that no one else has ever seen before - look for something special around you today 6. Share your gratitude at bedtime. Take five minutes at the end of the day to tell someone what you are grateful for - what is it from your day today that was special? 7. Compliment others. Share the things you appreciate about another person. 8. Write it down If you are really little, paint or draw a picture of what you are grateful for and put it on the fridge, if you are older write down the things that you are grateful for 9. Tell someone write a letter to someone who has made you feel special. this could be an email, a christmas card or even a phone call 10. Your family could start a family gratitude list. Post this list on the fridge. Add to it when necessary.
