Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), dubbed "The Mustache", has to step in when a family member goes off the rails, threatening to expose their secrets. Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), suffering from amnesia, and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) have both gone missing, making things more complicated.  Y&R spoilers indicate that Patty Williams (Andrea Evans), known as Bad Girl Patty, is becoming an increasing problem for the residents of Genoa City. She meets with Matt and warns him about Phyllis' past and her potential set up. As the tensions rise, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) tells Phyllis he wants to see Matt before they make any deals - a suggestion Phyllis flat out refuses. Meanwhile, Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) is skeptical of Nick's intentions and suspects Phyllis is holding Matt.  Spoilers for Young and Restless suggest that things spiral out of control as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) warns Victor about Nick's potential deal with Phyllis. Victor, not entirely convinced but cautious, reaches out to Phyllis to avoid any deals with Nick. On May 19th, Patty helps Matt navigate his surroundings, further complicating Phyllis's plans.  Spoilers for Y&R see tensions rise between Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick over his recovery, while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) grows increasingly concerned over Billy Abbott's (Jason Thompson) past haunting them. Kane, recovering from a bone marrow donation to Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore), receives a visit from Billy. By May 21st, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) arrives in New York to meet Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) to celebrate Malcolm's successful surgery.  More Y&R spoilers hint that he drama continues to escalate, culminating in Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) making a poor decision regarding Patty, potentially losing Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for good. As we approach the end of May, the suspense intensifies with Matt's memory potentially returning at any moment, making him a ticking time bomb of violence the weeks of 5/18-5/29/2026.
