368 Setting sail to Alaska

368 Setting sail to Alaska

Author: Christy Pudyk & Lake Sprenkle May 12, 2023 Duration: 1:07:39

Alaska, with its amazing scenery, vibrant wild life, and once in a life time port adventures, has become the cruise many family’s remember most when they look back on their travels. As the Disney Wonder heads north this week to begin another season of sailing to Alaska, we wanted to take the time to help you and your family prepare for your cruise this Summer, or get you thinking about booking one of these amazing sailings in the future. We touch on what makes Alaska special (glaciers, wild life, and scenery), a little bit about the Wonder if you haven’t sailed her before, what to expect during your day sailing to the glaciers, and then highlights of each port stop, and what we have planned this year. So if you’re ready to head up to the the Great White North… pack your fleece, rain jackets, shorts, and don’t forget your sun tan lotion (yes really, don’t forget you’re sun tan lotion), we’re headed out to explore Alaska on the beautiful Disney Wonder.
