Jeff and Silas host Death Metal Daddies, a podcast that lives in the chaotic, beautiful space where blast beats meet bedtime stories. This isn't a formal review show or a parenting manual. It's a conversation between two friends figuring out how to maintain their identity in the world of extreme metal while the daily responsibilities of fatherhood and adulthood demand a completely different soundtrack. You'll hear them dissect new albums and underground bands one minute, and pivot to discussing the surreal experience of explaining growled vocals to a toddler or negotiating screen time. The podcast thrives on this juxtaposition, finding the unexpected humor and genuine struggle in balancing a passion for aggressive music with the gentle, often exhausting, demands of raising a family. Each episode feels like hanging out in the garage after the kids are asleep, covering whatever comes to mind-from the technicalities of a killer riff to the mundane triumphs of getting through another week. It's a specific, relatable slice of life for anyone who has ever felt their personal passions quietly evolving alongside their daily duties. Tune in for the authentic, unpolished chat that defines the Death Metal Daddies podcast.
