Detroit Disco Sessions
Step into the warm, pulsing heart of the Motor City's underground with Detroit Disco Sessions. Curated and mixed by veteran selector DJ Tom T, this monthly podcast is more than just a set of tracks; it's a living archive of a sound. Each episode, aired live on the last Tuesday of the month, captures the raw energy and meticulous craft of a true disco house session. You'll hear the foundational grooves, the forgotten edits, and the soulful rhythms that built a scene, all woven together with the knowledge of a DJ who has lived this music. The conversations woven into these sessions-whether with fellow artists, historians, or voices from the dancefloor-add depth, tracing the direct line from Detroit's rich musical legacy to the four-on-the-floor beats that still move us today. It’s a celebration of persistence, community, and the undeniable need to move. Tune in for a regular dose of history, heat, and heartfelt mixing from a dedicated custodian of the groove. This is where the past and present meet on the dancefloor, every single month.
