Idealist - DHA Podcast #106

Author: Deep House Australia November 1, 2014 Duration: 58:51
After a pause and inspired by the local scene, Idealist (bit.ly/Idealist-SC) restarted making music in 2005. Also known as Details I, and real name Berni, he runs his own record label imprint, Idealist Music (bit.ly/IdealistMusic-WWW). Since his return to the industry in 2005, he has been touring his live act in various clubs, mainly around Europe, supporting acts like Jon Hopkins, Delano Smith or Der Dritte Raum. Berni claims to be more of a live performer than a DJ, but from time to time you might find him spinning from his record collection. Based in Switzerland, Idealist is one deep and dub producer you should be acquainted with. His recent vinyl only releases include the ‘Experience EP’ on Pro-Tez (Scsi-9, Russia) and ‘Details I – Details One’ on his own imprint, Idealistmusic. Have a listen: - Idealist – Experience-ep - Idealist – Details-i … both of which have resulted in a mass of attention on the worldwide stage. You can check out Idealist on 1st November at the 3 Ton Ravensburg (Germany) where he will play live.
