James Petrou - DHA Podcast #102

James Petrou - DHA Podcast #102

Author: Deep House Australia August 31, 2014 Duration: 1:08:04
James Petrou, Sydney-local and head of Trojan House Records, is a self-taught DJ and producer. James has been a regular on the local-scene for some time now, most notably receiving the respectful honour of becoming a resident DJ at La Famiglia at our beloved Burdekin Hotel recently. James is also well known for being one half of ‘Jaded & James’, production and DJ duo, who shot to fame with their release in 2012, ‘Toni's Pain EP’ released on Beef Records. It was in 2013, that James took his love for music to the next level, by establishing Trojan House Records. Not only is it an outlet for his own production skills, but to showcase other up and coming Aussie talent. Artists such as Dan Baartz & Cameron Cooper have been supported by the likes of international superstars such as Richie Hawtin, Maya Jane Coles & Joyce Muniz. James takes this mix pretty deep with some seriously chugging bass lines. Overall a beautiful deep tech flavour, perfect for his new home at The Burdekin Hotel.
