From the heart of Peru, the Discos Graves Mixes podcast channels the raw, exploratory energy of its namesake collective. This isn't just a series of sets; it's an auditory dispatch from an independent label and multi-disciplinary group of DJs, producers, and visual artists operating between Lima and Cusco. Their stated mission is to spread material that stimulates the third eye, and this audio series is a direct conduit for that vision. Each episode serves as a curated journey, often pulling from the crew's own productions and collaborations, reflecting the vibrant, underground scenes they cultivate. You'll hear the sounds that define their events, like those at Arkana Festival in the Sacred Valley or their regular sessions with Común Radio, translated into a personal listening experience. The mixes are dense, textured, and intentional, offering more than background music-they're designed for deep listening. Tuning into this podcast means getting a front-row seat to the evolving sonic landscape of Peruvian electronic music, straight from the artists shaping it. It's where the collective's live energy is captured and condensed, offering a regular dose of their unique perspective. Follow along for a consistently evolving sound that mirrors their active calendar and dedicated artistic pursuit.
