The Bacon Brothers

The Bacon Brothers

Author: DittyTV July 7, 2022 Duration: 47:36
Amy Wright chats with brothers Michael and Kevin Bacon, aka The Bacon Brothers, all about their brand-new five-song EP, Erato.  As multi-faceted artists with a ton of creativity in their DNA, Michael and Kevin have been actively creating music together, well, since they were just kids. They call the genre-bending sound they make “Forosoco” - a blend of folk, rock, soul, and country influences. And that makes sense, considering it's the continuation of sounds heard long ago in Philadelphia, where the two siblings were raised on a soundtrack of 1970s singer/songwriters, Philly soul singers, and classic rock bands. "We're a songwriting band, and the songs lead the way," Kevin explains. "We're not beholden to a specific sound. We just write the songs and let them point us in the right direction. That's how we've done it since the very beginning." Part of Pantheon Podcasts  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
