Bandon Dunes Developer Mike Keiser

Bandon Dunes Developer Mike Keiser

Author: GOLF.com October 10, 2015 Duration: 43:39
This week's edition of the Golf.com podcast brings you an interview from SI senior writer Alan Shipnuck with golf course developer Mike Keiser, owner of Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Oregon. The two discuss Keiser's golf game, which courses he rates the highest, how Bandon Dunes came about and his plans to expand the resort with a sixth course, Bandon Muni. At the time of this podcast's recording, Keiser was still in negotiations with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management to build the new 27-hole course. However, plans to build Bandon Muni ended in late September due to what Keiser calls, "unworkable terms" with officials. We are releasing this interview to give context to Keiser's side of the story.
