Host CJ Boxrud noticed something about the conversation around firearms: it’s often squeezed into sixty-second Instagram clips, leaving little room for nuance or depth. EMPTY BRASS was created to change that, offering a dedicated space for the community to engage in the longer discussions that matter. This podcast moves beyond the soundbites, providing a platform where certified instructors can break down complex topics for newcomers in clear, accessible detail. At the same time, seasoned shooters and enthusiasts will find value in hearing extended conversations with veterans, law enforcement professionals, and other voices from within the Second Amendment community. Each episode aims to foster a more informed dialogue, covering practical skills, current events, and the broader cultural and political landscape that surrounds responsible firearm ownership. By focusing on substance over snippets, EMPTY BRASS serves as a resource for anyone looking to deepen their understanding, whether they’re just starting out or have years of experience. It’s a direct response to the need for a thoughtful, long-form audio destination in a landscape often dominated by fleeting social media posts. Tune in for straightforward talk, free from the usual online noise.
