Stop Digging Up The Seed You Just Planted

Stop Digging Up The Seed You Just Planted

Author: bryan robinson September 26, 2026 Duration: 25:26
You know that one thing you keep trying to manage, replay, and “solve” in your head? The conversation you haven’t had yet, the person you’re trying to change, the decision you keep running like a chessboard. I sit down and get honest about what control really costs us and why it often shows up as anxiety dressed up as planning.

We walk through a faith-first approach to letting go without checking out. I talk about Proverbs 3:5-6 and what it looks like to trust God with the next step when you cannot see the whole road. We also dig into 1 Peter 5:7 and the picture behind the word “cast,” because a burden was never meant to stay on your back. From there, I use a farmer-and-seed metaphor to explain how trying to force outcomes can damage relationships, sabotage our peace, and turn prayer into constant worry.

To make it practical, I give you three questions to ask yourself when fear is running the show: what you’re afraid will happen, what faithful action is actually yours, and what outcome you’re trying to force. If you’re ready to loosen your grip, take the action that belongs to you, and leave the rest with God, press play. If it helps, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs peace, and leave a review.PRAYER REQUEST Support the show

In this debut episode, Bryan Robinson, also known as Be Rob, marks a personal milestone by reflecting on the journey toward his fiftieth birthday. Rather than a simple list, the conversation unfolds as a candid and often humorous retrospective, weaving together lessons that span the diverse categories of comedy, personal growth, and spirituality. You'll hear him share the seventeen specific insights and experiences that genuinely shaped his path, all gathered before he turned fifty on January 21, 1975. The tone is conversational and grounded, blending self-improvement anecdotes with moments of lighthearted reflection, and it may include interview segments with others who influenced his perspective. This podcast episode feels like a thoughtful, one-on-one chat that explores how life’s mix of faith, learning, and even missteps can coalesce into meaningful wisdom. It’s an authentic look back, offering listeners not a prescription for living, but a personal story that might resonate with their own chapters of change and discovery.
