For many years I believed (because I was taught this, either overtly or by implication) that the most important thing a Christian and a church could do is to reach the lost with the gospel. Everything else paled in comparison and was secondary to the reason God left believers on earth after their salvation. Only when I rejected this idea did I begin to witness to unbelievers with more confidence and frequency.
