Welcome to this week’s episode of Families Following Jesus. In season 1, as part of Queensland Baptists' Fan the Flame series, we are looking at the practices of the early church as we walk through the book of Acts together. In episode 2, we're looking at Practice #2: Witness & Serving.

What does it really mean to be a witness for Jesus — and to serve each other?

In this episode, we’re exploring what it means to show and tell the love of Jesus — just like the early church did! The first believers didn’t keep their faith to themselves. They lived it out loud — serving others, sharing what they had, and telling everyone about Jesus.

We’ll talk about:

  • How being a witness means showing others what Jesus is like through both our words and actions

  • A real story from the Bible where Philip followed the Holy Spirit’s prompt and changed someone’s life

  • Fun stories from kids about sharing their faith and serving others
