Bee Faithful

Chubbee was buzzless, he couldn't explain

Why he bee-haved badly, why he bee-haved strange.

Mama asked, “Son, what’s wrong with your thinker?

You hurt your sister?  You hang out with stingers?”

So Mama buzzed, "When you're with the wrong crowd,

You want to fit in, so you can be proud." 

“But pride always comes before a bee falls

The truth is, those bees aren’t your friends at all.

Where are they now? They’ve left you alone.

Real friends that love you, you find them at home.”

“I’m glad God is faithful; He’s always the same!

When something bad happens, He’s never to blame

God’s always good!” Mama said honestly.

Chubbee said, “Mama, you’re right. I’m sorry.”

 Then Chubbee prayed, “God, forgive me, I sinned.

I’m not gonna buzz with those bad bees again!

I shouldn’t have bee-haved that way,” Chubbee sighed.

“I want to be faithful, like Christ, when He died." L13
