Ca: El sol matinal entrava per la finestra de l'habitació d'hospital, il·luminant el rostre cansat però ple d'amor de la Laia.
En: The morning sun streamed through the window of the hospital room, illuminating the weary but loving face of Laia.
Ca: Al seu costat hi havia Marc, el seu germà petit, estirat en un llit blanquinós.
En: Beside her was Marc, her younger brother, lying on a pale bed.
Ca: Feia poc que havia passat per una operació complicada, i ara s'enfrontava al llarg camí de la recuperació.
En: He had recently undergone a complicated surgery and was now facing the long road to recovery.
