Nl: De kleine auto reed langzaam over de besneeuwde weg van de Veluwe.
En: The small car drove slowly over the snowy road of the Veluwe.
Nl: De wereld buiten was wit en stil, maar binnen de auto klonk het lawaai van een gesprek dat maar geen einde leek te kennen.
En: The world outside was white and silent, but inside the car, the noise of a conversation that seemed endless could be heard.
Nl: Klaas zat vooraan, naast zijn vader Jan, die de auto bestuurde.
En: Klaas sat in the front, next to his father Jan, who was driving.
