El: Η θάλασσα στο Αιγαίο γυάλιζε κάτω από τον ανοιξιάτικο ήλιο.
En: The sea in the Aigaio glistened under the spring sun.
El: Ο άνεμος έφερνε τη μυρωδιά από τις ανθισμένες αγριολούλουδες.
En: The wind carried the scent of blooming wildflowers.
El: Στην παραλία, ο Νίκος, ένας πολύ καλός ψαράς, δούλευε με την κόρη του Έλενα για να επισκευάσουν το παλιό καΐκι τους.
En: On the beach, Nikos, a very skilled fisherman, was working with his daughter Elena to repair their old kaiki.
El: Το καΐκι καθόταν στη στεριά, γεμάτο βερνίκια και καινούρια σανίδια.
En: The kaiki sat on the shore, full of varnish and new planks.

En: He felt the weight of her concern, but he didn't want to burden his daughter with more responsibilities.
El: Ήξερε ότι είχε τα δικά της όνειρα.
En: He knew she had her own dreams.
El: Καθώς δούλευαν μαζί, η Έλενα δεν άντεξε άλλο.
En: As they worked together, Elena couldn't hold back any longer.
El: «Πατέρα, θέλω να σου πω κάτι. Θέλω να δω τι υπάρχει πέρα από το χωριό μας. Θέλω να φύγω, να μάθω και να δω νέα πράγματα.»
En: "Father, I want to tell you something. I want to see what's beyond our village. I want to leave, to learn and see new things."
El: Ο Νίκος την κοίταξε με μάτια γεμάτα κατανόηση.
En: Nikos looked at her with eyes full of understanding.
El: Ήξερε πόσο σημαντικά ήταν τα όνειρα για έναν νέο άνθρωπο.
En: He knew how important dreams were for a young person.
El: Έτσι όπως ήταν μαζί στην παραλία, εκείνη τη στιγμή αποδέχτηκε την ανάγκη της κοπέλας του για αλλαγή.
En: As they were together on the beach, in that moment, he accepted his daughter's need for change.
