El: Ο ήλιος έπεφτε απαλά πάνω στα λευκά τοιχώματα του καφέ στη Σαντορίνη.
En: The sun gently fell on the white walls of the café in Santorini.
El: Το φθινόπωρο είχε ξεκινήσει, αλλά η ζεστασιά ακόμη κατέκλυζε τον αέρα.
En: Autumn had started, but the warmth still filled the air.
El: Μέσα στο καφέ, η Ελένη κάθισε σε ένα τραπέζι κοντά στο παράθυρο.
En: Inside the café, Eleni sat at a table near the window.
El: Το βλέμμα της χάθηκε στη θέα του γαλάζιου Αιγαίου.
En: Her gaze was lost in the view of the blue Aegean Sea.
El: Σήμερα, περίμενε το πλοίο για τον Πειραιά αλλά δεν ήξερε ακόμα αν θα ανέβαινε σ' αυτό.
En: Today, she was waiting for the ship to Piraeus, but she didn't yet know if she would board it.
El: Η Ελένη αγαπούσε τη Σαντορίνη.
En: Eleni loved Santorini.
El: Εκεί είχε μεγάλωσε.
En: She had grown up there.
El: Εκεί άφησε τις μνήμες της, τους φίλους της, και τη ζωή της ολόκληρη.

El: Αλλά από μέσα της υποβόσκει ένα όνειρο.
En: But inside her, a dream was lurking.

En: She wanted to go to Athens.
El: Να ασχοληθεί με τη φωτογραφία.
En: To engage in photography.
El: Να κάνει κάτι περισσότερο από αυτό που είχε συνηθίσει.
En: To do something more than what she was used to.
El: Ο Νίκος και η Θάλεια, δύο αγαπημένοι φίλοι της, ήταν εκεί μαζί της.
En: Nikos and Thaleia, two of her dear friends, were there with her.
El: Ο Νίκος ανακάτεψε τον καφέ του, ενώ η Θάλεια παρατηρούσε τη φίλη της με συμμετοχή.
En: Nikos stirred his coffee, while Thaleia observed her friend with involvement.
El: «Τι σκέφτεσαι, Ελένη;
En: "What are you thinking, Eleni?"
El: » ρώτησε η Θάλεια με γνήσιο ενδιαφέρον.
En: asked Thaleia with genuine interest.
El: «Δεν ξέρω αν πρέπει να φύγω», απάντησε η Ελένη.
En: "I don't know if I should leave," Eleni replied.
El: «Αφήνω πολλά πίσω μου.
En: "I'm leaving a lot behind."
El: »«Αλλά σκέψου πόσα μπορείς να κερδίσεις», είπε ο Νίκος.
En: "But think of how much you can gain," said Nikos.
El: Της χαμογέλασε με κουράγιο.
En: He smiled at her with encouragement.
El: Την ίδια στιγμή, το κινητό της Ελένης χτύπησε με ένα μήνυμα.
En: At that moment, Eleni's phone rang with a message.
El: Ήταν από τον παλιό της καθηγητή στην Αθήνα.
En: It was from her former professor in Athens.
El: «Μην αφήσεις την ευκαιρία να φύγει», έλεγε το μήνυμα.
En: "Don't let the opportunity pass by," the message said.
El: «Το ταλέντο σου αξίζει να δείξει τον δρόμο.
En: "Your talent deserves to show the way."
El: »Η καρδιά της Ελένης χτύπησε γρήγορα.
En: Eleni's heart raced.
El: Ήξερε τώρα τι έπρεπε να κάνει.
En: She now knew what she had to do.
El: Τα λόγια του καθηγητή της της έδωσαν τη δύναμη που της έλειπε.
En: Her professor's words gave her the strength she lacked.
El: Σήκωσε το κεφάλι της, κοίταξε τη Θάλεια και τον Νίκο και είπε, «Θα πάω.
En: She lifted her head, looked at Thaleia and Nikos and said, "I'm going to go."
El: »Οι φίλοι της χαμογέλασαν.
En: Her friends smiled.
El: Οι τρεις τους μοιράστηκαν μια τελευταία ζεστή στιγμή.
En: The three of them shared one last warm moment.
El: Η Ελένη ένιωσε το δέσιμο τους και κατάλαβε πως, ανεξάρτητα από νέες αρχές, το παρελθόν της δεν θα ξεχαστεί.
En: Eleni felt their bond and realized that, regardless of new beginnings, her past would not be forgotten.
El: Λίγo αργότερα, πήρε το δρόμο προς το λιμάνι.
En: A little later, she made her way to the port.
