El: Η άνοιξη είχε φτάσει στην Κρήτη.
En: Spring had arrived in Kriti.
El: Ο ήλιος φώτιζε λαμπερος πάνω στη φάρμα των ελαιών.
En: The sun shone brightly over the olive farm.
El: Ήταν καιρός για τη συγκομιδή της ελιάς.
En: It was time for the olive harvest.
El: Η Ελάρα προχωρούσε με αποφασιστικότητα στη φάρμα.
En: I Elara walked with determination on the farm.
El: Οι ελιές ήταν έτοιμες και εκείνη ήταν αποφασισμένη να δείξει τι μπορεί να κάνει.
En: The olives were ready, and she was determined to show what she could do.
El: Ο Κώστας, ο πατέρας της, καθόταν σ' έναν παλιό ξύλινο πάγκο.
En: O Kostas, her father, sat on an old wooden bench.

El: Αλλά και η ίδια η Άντρια ένιωθε διχασμένη ανάμεσα στην αγάπη για την οικογένεια και την ανάγκη για πρόοδο.

En: The family gathered.
El: Οι γειτονικές φάρμες απασχολούσαν κόσμο για τη συγκομιδή και οι άνθρωποι τραγουδούσαν τραγούδια του τόπου καθώς μάζευαν τις ελιές.
En: The neighboring farms hired people for the harvest, and the people sang local songs as they collected the olives.
El: Ξαφνικά, μαύρα σύννεφα συγκεντρώθηκαν στον ουρανό.
En: Suddenly, black clouds gathered in the sky.
El: Μια άγρια καταιγίδα πλησίαζε.
En: A wild storm was approaching.

En: I Elara had foreseen it.

En: Their land had adapted, and the family was more united than ever.
