El: Η μυρωδιά της θάλασσας ήταν παντού, ανακατεύοντας με το άρωμα του φρέσκου ψωμιού και του τσίπουρου.
En: The smell of the sea was everywhere, blending with the aroma of fresh bread and tsipouro.
El: Στο μικρό χωριό της Μάνης, η ταβέρνα "Ο Παραδοσιακός" άνοιγε τις πόρτες της με στιλ της Καθαρής Δευτέρας.
En: In the small village of Mani, the tavern "Ο Παραδοσιακός" opened its doors in the style of Clean Monday.
El: Λευκοί τοίχοι και μπλε παντζούρια, πάνω τους πολύχρωμα χαρτονάκια κρέμονταν λικνιζόμενα από το θαλασσινό αεράκι.

En: "And what better than the first days of spring in such a beautiful place?"
El: "Καθώς οι γύρω παρέες απολάμβαναν τα νηστίσιμα εδέσματα, τα δυο παλιά φιλαράκια ξαναβρήκαν ο ένας τον άλλον.
En: As the surrounding groups enjoyed the Lenten delicacies, the two old friends found each other again.

En: She was optimistic, looking forward with courage.
El: Εκείνος ένιωθε αντίθετα.
En: He felt the opposite.
