Hu: A teaház egyetlen biedermeier asztalát körülvevő puha párnák között Zoltán éppen azt tervezte, hogy hogyan tudná elérni Erika szívét.
En: In the midst of the soft cushions surrounding the only Biedermeier table of the teahouse, Zoltán was planning on how he might win Erika's heart.
Hu: A kis teaház tele volt.
En: The little teahouse was full.
Hu: A pultnál Erika, a tulajdonosnő, épp a rendeléseket vette fel.
En: By the counter, Erika, the owner, was taking orders.
Hu: Mellette állt Gábor, Zoltán régi barátja, aki jót mulatott Zoltán próbálkozásain.
En: Standing next to her was Gábor, Zoltán's old friend, who was amused by Zoltán's attempts.
Hu: A tavasz megérkezett Budapestre.
En: Spring had arrived in Budapest.
Hu: A kinti cseresznyevirágok lassan bontották szirmaikat.
En: Outside, the cherry blossoms were slowly unfurling their petals.
Hu: Belépett a teaházba egy csoport turista, zajossággal töltve meg a helyiséget.
En: A group of tourists entered the teahouse, filling the space with noise.
Hu: Zoltán kedvenc teájára várt, egy csésze nyugtató herbateára, amikor gondolt egyet, és kitalált egy újabb ötletet, amivel lenyűgözhetné Erikát.
En: Zoltán was waiting for his favorite tea, a cup of calming herbal tea, when he suddenly had an idea of how he could impress Erika.
Hu: "Mindjárt hozom a rendeléseket," szólt Erika mosolyogva, de egyben élvezettel figyelte a teaház forgatagát.
En: "I'll bring the orders shortly," Erika said with a smile, while she also enjoyed watching the teahouse bustle.
Hu: Zoltán sebesen tekintett körül, és véletlenül egy másik asztalról felemelt egy eszpresszós csészét, amit egy turistának címeztek.
En: Zoltán quickly glanced around and accidentally picked up an espresso cup from another table, meant for a tourist.
Hu: Ráharapott egy cukorra, és... ez eszpresszó!
En: He bit into a sugar cube, and... it was espresso!
Hu: Zoltán rémült arcot vágott, és a turistához fordult, aki épp észrevette a hibát.
En: Zoltán made a horrified face and turned to the tourist who had just noticed the mistake.
Hu: Szegény turista tétován nézett, majd ingerülten felhorkant.
En: The poor tourist looked confused and then snorted angrily.
Hu: "Ez az én kávém!" – fakadt ki, félreérthetetlen akcentussal.
En: "That's my coffee!" he exclaimed in an unmistakable accent.
Hu: Gábor nevetve sziszegte: "Zoltán, ma megint nagyot alakítasz!"
En: Gábor snickered, "Zoltán, you're really outdoing yourself today!"
Hu: Zoltán agya gyorsan járt.
En: Zoltán's mind was racing.
Hu: Két lehetőség közül választhatott: beismeri Erikának a baklövést, vagy valahogyan megpróbálja csendesen elsimítani az ügyet.
En: He had two options: admit the blunder to Erika, or somehow quietly smooth over the matter.
Hu: Idegesen Erika felé nézett.
En: Nervously, he looked toward Erika.
Hu: A turista egyre türelmetlenebbül dobolt az asztalon.
En: The tourist was tapping the table more and more impatiently.
Hu: "Csak egy pillanat!" – próbálta Zoltán újra mosolyogva.
En: "Just a moment!" Zoltán tried again with a smile.
Hu: Ekkor gondolt egyet, és egy bravúros megoldásra jutott.
En: Then he thought of a clever solution.
Hu: Visszatette a csészét az asztalra, és megpróbálta átadni helyette a saját herbateáját a turistának.
En: He placed the cup back on...
