Ja: 札幌のある春の日、高校生たちは活気づいていました。
En: On a spring day in Sapporo, high school students were full of energy.
Ja: 教室の窓から、ちらほらと桜の花が見えました。
En: Through the classroom windows, cherry blossoms could be glimpsed here and there.
Ja: 桜の季節が始まろうとしていました。
En: The cherry blossom season was about to begin.
Ja: 生徒たちは、これからの旭山動物園への遠足に心を躍らせていました。
En: The students were excited about their upcoming field trip to Asahiyama Zoo.
Ja: クラスの中に、恵子という生徒がいました。
En: In the class, there was a student named Keiko.
Ja: 恵子は内向的で、友達作りが苦手でした。
En: Keiko was introverted and found it difficult to make friends.
Ja: 彼女の隣には、さなという親友がいます。
