En: On a spring afternoon when sakura petals danced in the wind, the residential area was calm and quiet.
Ja: しかし、その静けさを破るかのように、一本の街灯がちらちらと点滅し始めたのです。
En: However, as if to break that silence, a streetlight began to flicker intermittently.
