En: Spring in the Tatry was fickle.
Pl: Chociaż słońce świeciło rano, Marek, młody warszawiak, niefortunnie trafił na nagłą śnieżycę.
En: Although the sun shone in the morning, Marek, a young Warszawiak, unfortunately found himself caught in a sudden snowstorm.
Pl: Był zdeterminowany, by samemu przejść szlak.
En: He was determined to hike the trail alone.
Pl: Niestety, góry okazały się bardziej nieprzewidywalne, niż przypuszczał.
En: Unfortunately, the mountains turned out to be more unpredictable than he expected.
