Ru: Борис стоял у входа на Красную площадь и смотрел вокруг.
En: Борис stood at the entrance to Krasnaya ploshchad' and looked around.
Ru: Москва изменилась.
En: Moskva had changed.
Ru: Высотные здания, яркие огни и море людей.
En: High-rise buildings, bright lights, and a sea of people.
Ru: Он не был здесь много лет, работая бизнесменом за границей.
En: He hadn't been here for many years, working as a businessman abroad.
Ru: Но сегодня был особый день.
En: But today was a special day.
Ru: Сегодня он должен встретиться с младшей сестрой Ириной.
En: Today he was supposed to meet with his younger sister Irina.
Ru: Ирина ждала его у памятника Минину и Пожарскому.
En: Irina was waiting for him at the monument to Minin and Pozharsky.
Ru: Она заметила брата издалека и помахала ему рукой.
En: She noticed her brother from afar and waved to him.
Ru: Борис почувствовал, как сердце забилось быстрее.
En: Boris felt his heart beat faster.

Ru: Подойдя ближе, Борис заметил, как изменилась его сестра.

Ru: Ее глаза остались такими же дружелюбными, как в детстве, но в них появился другой блеск — мудрость и покой.
En: Her eyes remained as friendly as in childhood, but they now had a different gleam — wisdom and calm.

En: They hugged, and Boris felt the distance of years melt away.

Ru: — Как ты, брат? Как жизнь? — начала Ирина бодро.

En: — Life takes us here and there, after all, — Boris replied with a smile.
Ru: — На самом деле, я иногда скучаю по нашему детству.
En: — Actually, I sometimes miss our childhood.
Ru: Они медленно пошли по Красной площади.
En: They slowly walked across Krasnaya ploshchad'.
Ru: Борис вспомнил, как будучи детьми, они бегали здесь, ели мороженое и катались на санках зимой.
En: Boris recalled how, as children, they ran here, ate ice cream, and went sledding in winter.
Ru: Он начал перебирать детские воспоминания, пытаясь найти что-то общее, что поможет восстановить связь с сестрой.
En: He began sorting through childhood memories, trying to find something in common that would help rebuild the bond with his sister.
