Ru: Летнее солнце жарко светило над руинами Древней Греции.
En: The summer sun blazed hotly over the ruins of Ancient Greece.
Ru: Михаил и Светлана шли по древним камням Афин.
En: Mikhail and Svetlana walked among the ancient stones of Athens.
Ru: Они искали клад, о котором говорили местные легенды.
En: They were searching for a treasure that local legends spoke about.
Ru: Михаил был скептичен.
En: Mikhail was skeptical.
Ru: Ему хотелось найти что-то настоящее, чтобы доказать свою значимость.
En: He wanted to find something real to prove his worth.
Ru: "Истории – это хорошо," – думал он, – "но где же реальные доказательства?
En: "Stories are all well and good," he thought, "but where is the real evidence?"

En: They walked through narrow passages among the columns.

En: They were surrounded by ancient frescoes and broken statues.
Ru: Вокруг было тихо, лишь ветер шептал о давно минувших временах.
En: It was quiet all around, with only the wind whispering of times long past.
Ru: "Я слышала, что артефакт скрыт под алтарем," – уверенно сказала Светлана.
En: "I heard the artifact is hidden under the altar," Svetlana said confidently.
