Our guest this Friday was Brendan Rogers, founding partner at 2am VC, a venture capital firm in the US, which focuses on investing in Gen Z entrepreneurs in India. 2am VC, which Rogers co-founded with Hershel Mehta, has already made several investments in Indian startups in sectors including fintech and health care. This is not his first entrepreneurial stint. Rogers co-founded Wag! Labs, an on-demand dog walking and other pet services startup, which attracted investors including SoftBank. He also helped found Gamechanger Labs, a social discovery service, which grew to over 50 million users in more than 10 countries and was acquired by IAC in 2014. He spoke to us from Sarasota, Florida, where he now lives, about seeing India—a bucket list item—the energy among young entrepreneurs in the country, and how 2am VC could help
