Cracker Barrel is taking a lot of heat for their new and “barreless” logo. I’m Tomi Lahren, more next. In case you live under a rock, let me catch you up. Cracker Barrel, a massive chain restaurant with an old country store theme has revamped its image and logo. The new logo removes the folksy older gentlemen AND the signature barrel.  While this may seem like a small change, it is indeed going over like a lead balloon. In fact, after the refresh the company’s stock price took a noticeable tumble, a nearly 10 dollar drop in stock value over the course of a single day.  Still, the company stands by the changes and need for modernization of the brand. Look, I'm not one to get outraged about something as benign as a logo, and I wouldn't even classify this shift as "woke." Rather, it just seems boring, unoriginal and plain.  The whole allure of Cracker Barrel is the old timey theme and aesthetic. If you strip that away, all you really have is a run-of-the-mill casual chain restaurant on the side of the interstate.  Seems like a dumb move to me!
