But behind the social media spectacle, modern sorority recruitment at major universities has quietly transformed into a multimonth, six-figure corporate operation run entirely by college women. Mindy Tucker, CEO of Tri Delta, is shifting that conversation in her new op-ed, "Beyond the Balloons."
