Matt MacInnis, new President of ECABC talks priorities and vision

Author: Business Examiner December 21, 2022 Duration: 18:58

The Electrical Contractors Association of BC (ECABC) was founded in 1952, when electrical contractors decided that a strong central voice was needed to speak on their behalf. Electrical and line contractors help build our province by installing and maintaining generated electricity to communities, and ensuring the safe transmission of high-voltage electricity from power plants to end-use markets. Then as now, ECABC is the Association in British Columbia dedicated to the interests of electrical contractors, line contractors, associate members and suppliers.

Their membership consists of IBEW and Open Shop Contractor members, manufacturers and distributors. They have 3 Chapters: Interior BC, (Prince George), Vancouver and Vancouver Island.

ECABC is a member of the Canadian Electrical Contractors Association (CECA) and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) giving them a national voice and helping ECABC and their members stay updated on the latest industry news. As a member, you have an opportunity to express your opinions and concerns on any issue affecting the electrical industry.
