Episode 215: LIVE at Wonderville

Author: Matt Storm and Gen Moonen July 3, 2026 Duration: 57:43

Wonderville is an independent bar and event space with over 30 free-to-play custom arcade cabinets built by gamemakers in the Greater NYC area and beyond. Physical games and physical spaces to play them matter more than ever, and Wonderville is a rotating gallery of fun and fanciful experiences. They partner with gaming conventions, museums, universities, and more to get these games in front of anyone who wants to see new and exciting corners of what gaming can be.

Matt & Gen visit Wonderville to interview Mark Kleback and Stephanie Gross, the co-founders and co-owners of Wonderville. They discuss what spaces like this mean for them, bringing games and events to life, and some of the practical aspects of being in charge of 80+ one of a kind physical arcade cabinets.

Check out Wonderville, their calendar of events, and their list of currently active cabinets on their Website. You can watch many of their events from anywhere in the world on Twitch.
