Fevzi Turkalp, the Gadget Detective, joins Clive Bull to discuss the latest tech on display at IFA 2026, the gadget expo in Germany, where all the latest trends are shown.

Gadget of the Week goes to;

Anker Mindbase. This hub for your smart home can coordinate up to 40 gadgets, includes an AI brain to allow local processing and supports up to 40tb of storage.

Soundcore SleepLab Pro. This sits beside your bed and can monitor your sleep without using a camera or anything touching you, instead utilising a form of radar. With the ability to track the four stages of sleep along with snoring and more, this gadget will produce a sleep analysis.

Aqara Spatial Multi-Sensor FP400. This innovative senser can detect not only if somebody is in a room but where in the room, all without using a camera. With the ability to track up to ten people, including whether they're sitting or standing, and offering the ability to automate other devices such as turning on a light as somebody sits at a desk.

Circular Ring 3 Pro. This smart ring can not only monitor your heart-rate, bloody oxygen, respiration and more, it also features NFC so it can be used for contactless payments, and also sports haptic feedback and 12 days battery.

RayNeo iO AI smart glasses. These smart glasses feature a green heads up display and AI functions via RayNeo and Gemini to show things such as meeting summaries, teleprompter, calendar prompts, even real time text translation.
