The 80's and 90's were the golden age for movie soundtracks.  This is the follow up episode that is a response to listener feedback and comments to the first episode.  The fans loved the first episode but were highly critical of some of the movies that were not covered.  Special guest Scotty returns to give his insights and help The Gag right the wrongs..  The boys cover  the following movie soundtracks - Singles, Valley Girl, Hi-Fidelity, Romeo and Juliet, The Wedding Singer, and Almost Famous and talk about significant role that music plays in these movies.   They also discuss how music in film and TV have contributed to huge cultural moments that still resonate today, including Elton John's "Tiny Dancer", Harold Faltormeyers "Axel F", Simple Minds "Don't You Forget About Me" and more.  Below is a playlist that features many of the great tracks we discuss in the episode

Bill Gagnon hosts Gagnation-Adventures in Music, Sports, Enterprise, and Leisure, a conversational podcast built around wide-ranging curiosity. Episodes feel like hanging out with friends who have strong, informed opinions across a surprising spectrum of topics. You’ll hear deep dives into the rock music that defined the 80s and 90s, alongside discoveries from newer artists, with practical talk about building playlists and recounting live concert experiences. Sports chatter is a major pillar, covering the major professional leagues and college athletics, but with a dedicated focus on the triumphs and tribulations of Los Angeles teams, and inevitably, spirited fantasy sports debates. The conversation then shifts toward enterprise, where themes like personal finance, leadership, and the impact of technology on business strategy get a straightforward, relatable treatment. Finally, the leisure segment acts as a catch-all for everything else that sparks interest, ensuring no topic is off the table. This isn't a narrowly focused show; it's a reflection of layered adult interests, where an analysis of a business innovation might follow a rant about a playoff loss or a review of a classic album. The whole Gagnation podcast is driven by Bill's guiding presence-often referred to as The Gag-and his guests, making each episode a unique exploration.
