Mark Episkopos is an Eurasia Research Fellow at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, and Adjunct Professor of History at Marymount University. Episkopos argues the window of opportunity for a peace agreement is closing fast, yet a peace is still possible. The gap is wide, but Ukraine is desperate as it is on the brink of collapse. The challenge is to link a Ukrainian peace agreement to a wider pan-European security agreement that ends NATO expansionism.
