The Biden administration took NATO and Russia to the brink of war, and the disaster in Ukraine intensified the shift to multipolarity. The US adjusts to a multipolar world by negotiating peace with Russia to pull it away from China, accepting the Ukraine proxy war has been lost, and beginning to pivot from Europe to Asia. For decades, the Europeans have accepted complete subservience to the US and thus failed to formulate a coherent foreign policy.
