Government Approved

The music of Government Approved exists in a specific sonic landscape, crafted by Matt Finlay with intentional audio characteristics. This podcast presents an album recorded using 432Hz base tuning, a choice some associate with natural resonance, and each track embeds a distinct solfeggio frequency tone, historically linked to specific healing properties. The collection is largely a solo endeavor, with Finlay writing, recording, and performing the majority of the work. A collaborative spirit surfaces on "Daddy Government," which features additional vocals from Courage Is The Cure, while the track "Your Government Is Your Enemy" introduces a different lyrical voice, having been written by Angry North. The production credits are a closed circuit, with mixing handled by Matt Finlay and Number Six at TNP Productions LLC, who also completed the mastering. Listening to this podcast means engaging with a deliberately constructed auditory experience where the technical choices in tuning and embedded frequencies are as fundamental to the identity of the work as the lyrics and performances. It’s a complete, focused musical statement from conception to final master, offered here as a cohesive audio document.
