There is Life After This | The Battle I Can’t See

Author: Grace Church July 5, 2026 Duration: 31:01

What happens after we die? Is death really the end?

In Week 5 of The Battle I Can’t See, Pastor River Harter explores one of the greatest promises in the Bible: because Jesus defeated death through His resurrection, everyone who belongs to Him has the hope of eternal life and bodily resurrection. While death is one of life’s hardest realities, it does not have the final word.

Through 1 Corinthians 15 and Revelation 21, we discover that Jesus has already won the victory, and one day He will make all things new. No more sin. No more pain. No more sickness. No more death. The battle will finally be over. If the life to come is real, it changes how we live today.

Scripture:

1 Corinthians 15:20–26

1 Corinthians 15:50–58

Revelation 21:1–5

In this message:

Why death entered the world

How Jesus defeated sin and death

What the Bible teaches about bodily resurrection

The hope of the new heaven and new earth

Why eternity changes the way we live today
