190: Accessing Happiness Through Your Inner Child with Olivia Mahfouz

Author: Simona Costantini July 25, 2023 Duration: 35:44

Olivia Mahfouz is a Birth & Postpartum Doula who realized once she had a child of her own how important it is to be a parent which made her have a passion for helping new parents and children at the same time.

From their brain development to coping with being a new parent, the main key was to keep smiling no matter the circumstance and to find happiness in this moment.

Olivia’s main goal is to help a lot of families understand that happiness is key to a successful life as a parent and the key to happiness is reconnecting with your own inner child.

This episode dives into why inner child work is so important, what we can learn from children, and how parents can access the help they may need when parenthood seems too hard on their own. Parenting can be overwhelming and often lonely, but it doesn’t have to be.

As we grow up we have to rediscover the confidence we had as a child to explore, find happiness, and trust.

We’re going to talk about:

  • [2:36] What does happiness mean to Olivia?

  • [4:09] How did Olivia get started on inner child work
