Harvard College Class of 2000: The Podcast
Hi classmates! This is Eileen and today I’m interviewing psychiatrist and professor Julie (formerly Kalos) Penzner, who is every bit as warm and thoughtful as when we were neighbors in Holworthy Middle. Enjoy her insights on everything from parenting and the power of teaching, to the unsurpassed experience that is a New York bagel. Julie practices acute care psychiatry at Duke University Hospital and Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC. She also trains future physicians as an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Vice Chair for Education in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University Medical School. Julie lived in Holworthy and Eliot and was a psychology and biology (mind, brain, behavior track) concentrator.
