Health and wellness entrepreneur Alex Fergus has an interesting story to share about his journey to finding better health. Like many Americans, Alex grew up playing several sports throughout his childhood and college years – from competitive rowing to bodybuilding and weight-lifting. Glyphosate, the active chemical in the weed killer RoundUp, is the world's most used herbicide. First discovered in 1950, glyphosate's herbicidal properties were not identified until 1970. It was quickly patented by agrochemical and biotech company Monsanto.
