David Ellefson has announced the December leg of his Bass Warrior European tour, and he'll be playing Megadeth's Countdown To Extinction in its entirety across twelve dates from December 3 to 19 — five days after Dave Mustaine's memoir excerpt claimed Ellefson's time in the band was finished regardless of the 2021 scandal. Ellefson has previously said of his 2010 return as a salaried player: "In order to have a friendship, I had to give up some ownership."

Also on this episode: MNRK Music Group have acquired the complete recorded catalogue of Black Label Society — eleven studio albums plus live releases, compilations, EPs and Zakk Wylde's solo material including Unblackened — with Wylde remaining actively involved in how the music is presented. And Abbath have cancelled all remaining 2026 shows, a month after a Finland festival set was scrapped during the opening song.
