FBI Veterans Coffindaffer and Dreeke on Guthrie, Duggar, and Gilgo Beach

Author: Hidden Killers Podcast April 7, 2026 Duration: 1:01:29

Two retired FBI veterans — Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer and Counterintelligence Behavioral Analysis Chief Robin Dreeke — sit down for one of the most wide-ranging episodes in Hidden Killers Live history, covering three active investigations that each expose a different kind of systemic failure.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, remains missing from her home near Tucson, Arizona. Authorities believe she was abducted. Sourced reporting has revealed that the initial response team reportedly lacked homicide experience, experienced detectives had allegedly been reassigned, and the department's search and rescue plane was reportedly grounded. The FBI is embedded. A $1 million family reward remains active. No suspect has been publicly named.

Joseph Duggar, 31, faces Florida charges for allegedly molesting a nine-year-old girl during a 2020 family vacation — and reportedly admitted to the conduct twice, according to the arrest affidavit. A search of his home produced separate Arkansas charges against both Joseph and his wife Kendra after investigators reportedly found locks on the exterior of children's bedroom doors. His brother Josh is serving a 12½-year federal sentence. The Tontitown Police Department says this investigation remains active and ongoing.

Rex Heuermann, 62, is expected to change his plea to guilty at an April 8th court appearance in the Gilgo Beach case. He's charged with the murders of seven women. If the plea is accepted, he faces life without parole. There would be no trial.

Coffindaffer brings the procedural and forensic analysis. Dreeke brings the behavioral lens. Together they examine what connects these cases beneath the surface — and what each one reveals about the gap between the protection people deserve and what the system actually delivers.
