G.O.A.T. - Greatest Of All Time. A phrase popularized by an emcee out of Queens, New York City. One of the first rappers to release his album with the iconic Def Jam Records. This week we are talking about one of the greats, nothing new there, but this week we are talking about the GOAT, LL Cool J. Ladies Love Cool James aka LL Cool J aka James Todd Smith. Born in 1964 in Bay Shore, New York, raised in Queens, signed to Def Jam in 1984, LL is now largely known as the NCIS special Agent Sam Hanna on NCIS: Los Angeles, but hip hop fans know him as the fierce emcee who released Radio in 1985, Mama Said Knock You Out in 1990 and so much more. LL Cool J is a national treasure.
