Reasons to get optimistic about Trump's policy on the war - a chat with a DC insider

“Jake Sullivan used to give the bully (Putin) his lunch money. We’re not going to do that” - Mike Waltz, US National Security Advisor Comforting words shared on my latest podcast! Good to have a former Green Beret instead of a lawyer driving US foreign policy. I had the pleasure of sitting down with Steven Moore, a DC insider fresh off of trips to DC and Davos, where he’s gained a solid understanding of Trump’s developing policy towards Russia and Ukraine. In Moore’s belief, he’s increasingly optimistic about Trump’s support for Ukraine and an end to the war this year – a view which I agree with. Listen in to hear more about why Steven is getting optimistic for Ukraine and the war ending this year.  Good to believe the US is getting some guts again in foreign policy.  Steven Moore spent 30 years in Republican politics, including many years as a chief of staff in the U.S. House of Representatives. He has been in Ukraine since day 5 of the war. His NGO, the Ukraine Freedom Project (UFP), has delivered some 250 tons of food to areas impacted by the war, supplied dozens of hospitals with medical supplies, helped put thousands of pieces of body armor on Ukrainians and delivered Starlinks, drones, generators, and other aid to areas near the front. With his years of experience on Capitol Hill, Moore has also become a trusted source of information to members of Congress and their staff. Please consider donating to UFP! Please also check out a documentary Steven helped produce on Russia’s attacks on Christians in Ukraine here, and you can also stay informed on Ukraine via Steven’s substack column here.  Please consider donating to UFP - https://ukrainefreedomproject.org/!
