039. Raising Quail on the Small Scale Homestead Part 2

039. Raising Quail on the Small Scale Homestead Part 2

Author: Mona Weathers April 26, 2023 Duration: 26:14

In 2020 when the world was shutting down it was our first year on this homestead in Georgia. I was starting to feel very lonely because all of my homesteading friends were back in California. That's when I found a new startup app called Clubhouse.

I was in a new state, a new home, and far away from my homesteading friends. It was a really difficult time for me and then I found the social audio app where there were all these people talking about gardening, raising livestock, fermenting food, and all of the things I loved to talk about. I found my online homesteading community and I still have good relationships with many of the people I met back in 2020.

My guest today is Jasmine Bass and we met on Clubhouse. While we have not been as active on Clubhouse anymore, I have fond memories of the rooms we used to host together and all of the conversations we had.

Don't forget to listen to episode 38 for part 1 of this two-part series on raising quail.
