J.B. SMOOVE is an American actor, writer, producer, comedian, and voice actor, who grew up in the projects and launched his career on Def Comedy Jam in the early 1990s. Although he spent three years at SNL as a writer and bit performer as well as being a series regular on the Fox sitcom “'Til Death” and the CBS show “The Millers,” he is best known for his amazing role of Leon on the HBO series “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Smoove's film credits include “With or Without You,” “Pootie Tang,” “Date Night,” “Hall Pass,” “The Sitter,” “We Bought a Zoo,” “The Dictator,” “A Haunted House,” “Clear History,” and “Mr. Deeds.” In 2012, his first televised comedy special, “JB Smoove: That's How I Dooz It,” premiered on Comedy Central.
