Author: Jeremy Snape August 25, 2022 Duration: 29:43

Ade Adepitan was born in Lagos, Nigeria. As an infant, he contracted polio, resulting in damage to his legs that meant he needed calipers to walk. At the age of three, he moved with his family to the UK, where he grew up in East London. Becoming a wheelchair basketball player, he was part of the British team that played at the 2004 Summer Paralympics, securing a bronze medal. In 2005 he was awarded the MBE for services to disability sport. Ade’s story is a powerful reminder that we can always find a way to win.

In this episode, find out how Ade was so motivated to be self-reliant. We also delve into the growth mindset, how to be more than just our job title – and how passion is such an invaluable part to success.
